Of course, the day I was discharged was my birthday. Look at these gorgeous flowers DH gave me. There were a lot of lily buds in the arrangement, and every day for about 3 or 4 days a new lily would open up. It was just gorgeous.
This is one of my birthday presents from DH also. The main present is a begininng quilting class that starts the beginning of Sept for 4 weeks on Tuesdays. I've always wanted to learn how to quilt. This isn't the pattern I'll be making in the class, but I think it will be the second one. I got this table runner kit from the Fat Quarter Shop online. They have sooo many wonderful fabrics and quilt kits.
This first picture is from LHN Neighborhood piece. I'm in the SAL on http://lhneighborhood.blogspot.com/ that Nicole started. It's not much of a start, but at least it's a start.
Here is my little update on Lo, How a Rose. I took this to the hospital with me, but think I only stitched a couple of letters.
This is CHS A Quaker Study. I stitched on this a little one day last week when I needed a break from the JCS piece.
Well, I guess that's it. I've signed up for a PIF with Deb, so I'm going to do another post about that though.
Have a great weekend.
PS: I forgot to post a little sidenote: Today is my grandpa's 90th birthday. He doesn't get on the computer or anything, but I just think it's impressive that he turned 90. He's still pretty healthy as a horse. Happy Birthday, Grandpa!!!!
